Workers who have unused days of annual leave from 2025 should submit a request to their employer in a timely manner to use the remaining leave.<\/p>

According to the Labor Relations Law, annual leave is generally used during the calendar year. If the leave is used in two parts, the first part must last at least 12 working days, and the rest can be used no later than June 30 of the following calendar year.<\/p>

This means that the remaining days of annual leave from 2025 can be used until June 30, 2026.<\/p>

Annual leave is the employee's right and the employer is obliged to enable its use in accordance with the law, the needs of the work process and the employee's opportunities for rest and recreation.<\/p>

Holidays, Saturdays and Sundays, sick days and other justified absences from work are not counted in annual vacation days.<\/p>

For this purpose, we have prepared a form - Request for Annual Leave, which workers can submit to their employer at the company where they work.<\/p>

It is important that the request is submitted in writing and on time, so that the employee has proof that he or she has requested the use of annual leave.<\/p>

If the employer does not allow the use of annual leave or restricts this right contrary to the law, workers can request protection of their rights and contact the competent institutions or Glasen Tekstilec.<\/p>
