Brief description of the project:

General objective: To encourage gender-responsive budgeting in the Municipality of Shtip through active participation and advocacy of women in local decision-making processes.  
Short-term goals:
•KC1: To increase the knowledge of at least 60 women on gender-responsive budgeting and local decision-making;
•KC2: To create space for dialogue between women, the municipality and public institutions for the inclusion of gender perspectives in the budget for 2026 and 2027.
•KC3: Develop at least three specific proposals for gender-sensitive measures and submit them to the Municipality of Shtip.

Target group everything the women и the girls from the municipalities of the Eastern region. The target groups, who are also beneficiaries of the project results, will include workers from the textile industry and the rest of the private sector, women entrepreneurs, women at social risk (women victims of violence, women and girls from ethnic communities, women with disabilities), media representatives. Local government - mayors, employees in public administration, representatives of civil society organizations, members of the municipal council, municipal commissions and sectors in the municipalities.
End users: Vulnerable categories of women, their families, the female population in the municipality, local authorities, youth in the municipalities and the entire community in the municipalities.
