Through its experience as a civil society organization working to promote the rights and respect for the human and labor rights of textile workers, for the past three years "Glasen Tekstilec" has been providing legal assistance, preparing requests and complaints for workers to employers and institutions. Requests for extraordinary inspection supervision are also prepared for private companies with reports from employees that they are being denied employment rights in a particular company. The association itself encounters difficulties in providing answers from labor inspectors regarding information about violations of labor rights in private companies.

In conversations with workers who have contacted "Glasen Tekstilec" through social networks, by phone or in person at the association's offices, they say that they are afraid to independently confront their employers when their human or labor rights have been violated, that they are afraid to report it to a competent institution themselves, and that is why they turn to the association, above all, because their anonymity is guaranteed.

They often say that they do not know where to turn, they do not have enough information, they are afraid to go to the labor inspection because, as they say, it will be known who reported the employer and they will be left without a job and livelihood. They usually turn to the Municipality, the Ombudsman, and they heard about "Glasen Tekstilec" from social networks. If they become unemployed and turn to the association for help, they want to initiate legal proceedings but they say "it is a long and expensive process, and there is no justice for the ordinary person.".

Since 2019, the association has had a need to monitor court proceedings due to a request from citizens for the presence of representatives of the association. The reason given is that they fear pressure in court proceedings.

For all the above reasons, this analysis was conducted, contacts were made with citizens from the cities of Shtip, Delchevo, Sveti Nikole, where the field questionnaire was completed, and court proceedings related to employment were also monitored, which are further processed in the analysis.
