In the period from December 15 to 17, 2022, the first part of the workshop on textile cooperatives, organized by Glasen Tekstilec, within the framework of the project "Institutional and Economic Empowerment of Women and Girls from the Eastern Region", was completed. This workshop is financially supported by the Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation and Sweden.

The first part of the training was mapping textile workers for the formation of a textile cooperative, through sessions on operational management, human resource development, team building, as well as technical capacity development, together with Vesna Kardalevska, Nikola Buleski and Ivana Vučkova. During the workshop, the prototypes of ZEN Futurus were also presented by Gere Tripkov and Ljubisa Saveski.

The trainings will enable textile workers to acquire skills that respond to labor market trends and consumer needs, while at the same time guaranteeing social and environmental standards that will enable sustainable development. 🌱

By acquiring such skills, workers will strengthen their own capacities to contribute to greater added value to their products, high sustainability of the textile cooperative and production cycles, which is a prerequisite for the economic growth of the cooperative and the economic empowerment of the workers themselves.
