Knowledge of workers' rights is one of the most important prerequisites for their timely and effective protection, a publication intended for peer educators at Glasen Tekstilec.

The publication „"I know my workers' rights, I know my power"“, issued by the Association for the Protection of Workers' Rights "Glasen" Textiles" - Shtip, is a practical and understandable guide to the basic rights arising from the employment relationship.

The publication addresses several topics that workers encounter on a daily basis, including:

  • establishing an employment relationship and employment contract;
  • working hours and overtime;
  • breaks, daily and weekly rest;
  • annual leave and absences from work;
  • salary and salary supplements;
  • dismissal and notice periods;
  • action in case of violation of workers' rights;
  • recognition, consequences and protection from mobbing in the workplace.

Special attention is paid to psychological harassment - mobbing, ways of recognizing it and the mechanisms available to workers to protect their dignity and rights.

The purpose of the publication is to make legal information available to students and peer educators.

The publication was produced within the framework of the project „"Organized citizens for an organized future"“, implemented by "Glasen Tekstilec", with financial support from Olof Palme International Center and Sweden.
