On September 11, 2026, The Association for the Protection of Workers' Rights "Glasen Tekstilec" from Shtip и The Association of People with Cerebral Palsy and Other Disabilities from Veles signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, which lays the foundations for joint action and implementation of activities of mutual interest.
The cooperation will be aimed at improving the quality of life, social inclusion and equal opportunities for persons with disabilities, women at risk and the elderly, as well as their economic and social empowerment. Special emphasis will be placed on improving social services, access to health and social protection, gender equality, employment opportunities and greater participation of these groups in social life.
The Memorandum envisages joint planning and implementation of projects and programs, exchange of information and good practices, organization of trainings, workshops, public debates and conferences, as well as preparation of joint initiatives and campaigns. The two organizations will also cooperate in participating in domestic and international calls for funding and will provide mutual expert and technical support.
The memorandum is concluded for a period of five years, with the possibility of extension by mutual consent, and represents another step towards building stronger partnerships between civil society organizations and creating a more inclusive and just community.
The memorandum was developed within the framework of the project "Together We Are Stronger 2", implemented by the Association of People with Cerebral Palsy and Other Disabilities from Veles, financially supported by The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation.
